We developed a digital platform to promote sustainable tourism on Pulau Untung Jawa, while supporting environmental conservation efforts and contributing to the socio-economic development of the local community. The platform was designed to strengthen the connection between visitors, local initiatives, and community-based tourism, creating new opportunities for sustainable growth while preserving the island’s unique natural and cultural environment.

The project focused on “Social Innovation” (and “Digitalisation” in general) and explored how learning and knowledge transfer could be established between the UNDP Accelerator Labs and their respective beneficiaries, in close cooperation with the UNDP Accelerator Labs of Namibia, Indonesia, and Peru.

The project focused on the development of a digital platform for Colegio San Juan Apóstol, a K–12 school located in Villa Cerrillos on the outskirts of Arequipa, Peru. The platform was designed to support the school’s educational and administrative activities by improving communication, streamlining access to information, and creating a more connected digital learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.
